So we have teamed up with the number one tanning lotion manufacturer in the country to provide you with those products, Australian Gold, Swedish Beauty, and Caribbean Gold.
Tanning lotions can do many things to help you keep that tan longer, help you achieve it faster, and to get your deepest, darkest, healthiest tan possible. If you aren’t using tanning lotions you should, because you could be giving up 30% or more of your color!
 Accelerators – These are products that provide the necessary ingredients for melanin (melanin is what your skin produces that turns from pink to brown during the tanning process) production and are most effective when applied right before UV exposure. All of our bronzers, tingle products, and blush products have accelerators as well but each has their added benefits.
Examples: Crystal I, Intrigue, Secret Rapture
Bronzers – There are two different types of bronzers.
Immediate bronzers are botanical extract additives that accelerate the tanning process by producing an instant bronzed color to the skin and enhancing and already established tan. The color will last approximately 24-48 hours.
Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) bronzers react with amino acids in the skin to provide a suntanned appearance. This type of bronzer is not recommended for someone who does not have a base tan. You should wait 4-6 hours before showering to ensure the best tan possible and color will last 7-10 days.
Examples: Black, Freedom, Majesty
Tingle Products – These products increase microcirculation and impart a warm “tingling” effect. The microcirculation appears as a red flushing that occurs due to the increase of blood flow to the skin and will temporarily color the skin. We do not recommend that beginning tanners use a tingle product and never use tingle products on your face.
Examples: Bombshell, Melt, Mood
 Blush Products – Blush products react with the skin similar to the tingle products but w/o the “tingle” effects. You will not have as much reddening but we still do not recommend that you use the product on your face.
Examples: Crystal XII
 Sunless Products – For those customers that are not able to tan with UV light, we offer many sunless options such as Mystic Tan spray booth and California Tan sunless products.
Examples: California Tan's Sunless Kit and Corrector Kit
 Tan Extenders – In addition to offering great tanning lotions, we also offer a wide range of after tan products to help you keep your tan looking healthy and last longer.
Examples: Angel, Enamour, Undercover Angel
